SEL series lightning rod is a kind of product, which matches GH model ring type steel lightning rod and ZG model ring type reinforced concrete lightning rod
Lightning rod Operating principle 1. When cumulus-nimbus cloud is created , between the earth and cloud there will be produced the electric field , and the strength of the electric field will close to 5 kV/m whereas the various high points such as the protrusion and metal parts will create natural ionization . 2. Several tracers are produced at the core of the cloud and they travel to the ground by successive steps . When these descending leaders come closer, the ionization of the high points increases and produces ascending tracers. 3. The meeting of the two tracers creates an ionized path down which the cloud discharges its electric charge . The buildings on the earth will create lots of ascending tracer and the first ascending tracer which meets with the descending tracer determines the place of the lightning poin.
